All in the name of Anti-Terrorism, the UK government, under the EU directive now requires ISP to retain personal information on emails and internet telephone calls.

TERRORIST LINE UP:

After September 11 and 7/7, the words 'War in Iraq', 'War on Terrorism', 'War on Terror', 'Terror', 'Terrorists' have been a constant fixture in the media headlines.

In 2008, a UK politician has likened solving the global economic downturn to the same way like the 'War on Terror'. During this time, a news anchor has referred to Barrack and Michelle Obama's fist pound as 'the terrorist fist jab' during the historical US presidential nominations.

The 'Terrorist Line up' series is from my frustration and exploration of the word terrorism, terrorists and Terror. Who exactly are the terrorists? Is there a racial, geographical, political or religious bias involved here? Is it possible for politicians to exploit such words? Who has the right to label someone or something a 'terrorist' or an 'instrument of terrorism'?

NYC IN A HEARTBEAT 22 Photos Nov 2, 2009

The photo’s are from a series of images called ‘New York city in a heartbeat, 2008'. I spent a week in New York absorbing the city during the winter time. It was my first time there and I absolutely fell in love with it. I loved the urban look, the buildings, the streets and the people.

In an ever changing mega-city like New York, I chose to take these images in black and white to give that timeless, classic look. Yet at the same time, it give a raw feel that I like in street photography.
